Let me explain, reaching My Goal Of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt after 11 years was no easy Task..Between the injuries, Illnesses, Job, FaMily ,transportation, financial issues and a list of other things, I knew from the moment I stepped on the Mats that this is something that will be a part of me  Forever. 

I Grew up in the streets Of South West Yonkers, Nodine Hill to be exact.  (Home Of the Brave) .I grew up fighting so it wasn't the thrill Of a Westchester Fight Club that turned me on. No , It was the Love of the Art Of BJJ. The Greatest Martial Art known to Man..

Being home and putting your Pillow in the rear Naked choke, tucking your elbow to turn while your in bed, combat stand from where ever your sitting..  These small things that run through your mind during normal daily activities.  Yes It means your addicted and one of the few times Its ok to be..

Look I have had every Reason (Excuse )to Quit and people would have thought it was the right thing to do.  Well they would have been wrong..I can't Tell you How Many Men I started with and started before me that are still not Black Belts (for whatever Reason). But their Love for the Art won't allow them to quit.

I have seen  So Many walk through the doors Only to Become a statistic...Guys who want to fight MMA, Guys who want to be Elite Fighters and Athletes but want results right away. They just didn't get it.. Martial Arts is a Life Long Investment,  Plain and simple..

 IF you tell yourself this that no matter what you will not Quit! Win, Lose ,DraW No quitting.  That your in this for Life and no Matter what Life Throws your way ,you will always find your Way. That's How you get to Black Belt. It starts in your Heart then your Mind.  And the Wait Is well worth the Journey , for the Journey never ends.
